Currently the main source of research into joseki and fuseki is Korea. It is
only natural in that country the most up-to-date books on this subject are published.
"Korean style" is a series of 3 volumes about the modern developments in the opening.
The books are bilingual Korean/English. Most go terms are translated from korean into
english, but in some cases the Korean term is used. For example: pae = ko, Jung-seok = joseki,
sensu = sente.
The books are intended for dan-level players, which clearly fills a gap in the market,
as in recent times mainly books for kyu players have been published.
Volume 1: Avalanche Jungseok (= Nadare Joseki) and mini-chinese.
About 280 pages of variantions with short to the point comments. Of more than 100
professional games the first 50 moves are shown as illustration of the theory.
The material is very up date: some of the examples from professional games are from 2004.
